Join us for a one-of-a-kind songwriter’s round, where the artists share the stories behind their songs and then perform them live. This up-close format gives you a rare peek into the creative process, straight from the voices who lived it. This marks a continuation of Tulsa’s very first songwriter’s series; an intimate showcase of storytelling and song-sharing in true Nashville tradition, now brought home to The Church Studio.
About the Artists:
Wyatt Pike: Wyatt Pike is an indie-folk songwriter crafting story-forward songs rooted in vivid imagery, emotional honesty, and lived experience. He first gained national attention as a standout contestant on American Idol (Season 19), where his original songs and understated performances quickly made him a fan favorite. A native of Park City, Utah, Pike advanced into the Top 16 and performed a memorable duet with Ben Rector before stepping away from the show—an early moment that only deepened the connection listeners felt to his artistry.
Following his television debut, Pike built momentum independently with his debut EP Brand New Boy and his most recent acoustic release, Face The Weather. His music traces the slow, human process of growing into yourself—balancing vulnerability with a growing sense of clarity and perspective. Alt Recess called his work “the next chapter — more assured, more grounded, but still brimming with the tender honesty that put him on the map.” His 2026 releases continue in that spirit.
Cody Jacobs: Nashville native Cody Jacobs is an indie/folk/pop artist who’s been surrounded by music his entire life. Raised in a city built on songwriting, Jacobs developed a sound that blends introspective lyrics with a warm, melodic sensibility—writing songs that aim to make you feel something, because sometimes something is better than nothing.
With a growing catalog of releases and a steadily building audience, his single “Wither” has found notable traction across streaming platforms, further establishing his ability to connect with listeners through honest, emotionally resonant songwriting. After stepping back from music for a season, he now returns with renewed clarity and purpose. He is currently working on his upcoming EP Sweet Burden, a project that reflects both the weight and beauty of that journey.
CJ England: Raised in the hills of West Virginia, CJ England grew up in a place where music wasn’t just heard—it was lived. From an early age, songwriting became a steady thread in his life, shaping both his voice and the stories he tells. Rooted in faith and carried by years of leading in church settings, CJ has spent much of his journey traveling and sharing songs that reflect real life—marked by hope, struggle, and redemption.
His music is grounded in authenticity, drawing from personal experience and a deep sense of purpose. Whether in intimate gatherings or church rooms, CJ’s songs aim to connect on a human level—honest, reflective, and anchored in something deeper than performance. At the center of it all is his family. His wife and their four children are the heartbeat behind everything he creates, continually shaping not only the man he is but the stories he chooses to tell.
